Production Process
The Ring Spinnery
The yarn acquires the desired grist by using a ring spinner to distort
(refining) and strengthen (twisting).
The siro spinning process takes two rovings after they have been distorted
and twists them into a spun thread. If a thread from an elastic material
is also inserted into this spun thread, a yarn for stretch fabrics will
be created.
In addition, there is compact spinning, where the fibres are bundled
with air pressure prior to being twisted. This process is used to produce
top quality yarns.
