Production Process
The Winding Room
The spun yarn is wound from yarn cops to different pirn holders. In addition,
the yarn is cleaned again.
The cleaning process is electronically controlled by an autoconer. The
machine cuts out thick parts, thin parts and impurities.
The splicing mechanism on the autoconer ties the ends of the threads
together again using splices (interlacing). If necessary, or if the customer
so desires, the new threads can be tied together using knots.
